Metita is one of the 26 previously uninhabited islands and lies 3 km from the southernmost tip of Morotai. Metita is a small, 900m long and 450m wide coral island surrounded by a fringing reef, which you can walk around in about 45 minutes. 
Opened in 2022, the Metita Beach & Dive resort is located on the small island of Pulau Metita, south of Morotai. The luxurious eco-friendly resort will have 6 rooms in 2023, divided over 5 beach cottages and 1 family garden cottage.
