You will stay almost a week at the Maluku resort & spa and make your daily dives. Then you board the Pelni ship and move on to the spice islands of Banda. Besides the beautiful underwater world you can also climb the volcano Gunung Api, see the old nutmeg beds and discover the VOC history. Diving in the South Moluccas is possible from September to June, whilst Banda is the most interesting in September and October. Big chance to spot the whaesharks. NB: The reliable Pelni-ships only sail once in two weeks: On Saturday from Ambon to Banda and on Thursday back to Ambon.
