Tour module 8 days diving Raja Ampat dive resort - Waisai

With the fast ferry of around 9:00 you sail in about 2 hours to Waisai on the island Waigeo. Here we’re wating for you and take you with a speedboat to the resort. If you’re too late for the ferry, your guide will take you to your hotel in Sorong and you will make your boat trip to the resort the following day.

These days you can dive and snorkel at will in the most beautiful area of Indonesia. Between November and March a diving- or a snorkelling trip at Manta Sandy is a must! But don’t forget to admire the seahorses, wobbegong sharks, barracudas and other wonderful fish above the marvellous healthy coral as well. Besides diving and snorkelling you can book excursions to the birds of paradise or a traditional village on the spot. Or just chill out on the beach…

The diving package consists of 3 dives per day (instructor and boat included).

If you’re talking about Papua, then you’re especially talking about diving. There are numerous unique dive spots that are breathtaking. Wobbegong sharks and Manta rays are just some of the highlights. There’s simply too many to mention, you can go diving 5 full days and even then you won’t have seen 25% yet! Diving can be arranged locally. Generally you pay between € 30 and € 40 per dive. You can hire a complete diving-equipment for around € 30 per day. If you want to make a dive trip further afield you can rent a boat for circa € 30 for the whole day. If you wish we make an all-in package with 2 or 3 dives per day.

After breakfast you sail back to the port and board the ferry before 09:00 for the return trip to Sorong. Our driver is already waiting at the port and will take you to the airport or to a hotel in Sorong. Lunch and dinner are at your own expense this day. Schedule ferry from Wasai to Sorong (subject to change): daily at 09:00 and 14:00. The ferries don’t run on public holidays.
