Canggu
Canggu is partially situated in the rice fields but stretches out until the beach of Batu Bolong and Echo beach.
The silence around the villas in the rice fields contrasts sharply with Echo Beach, a paradise for surfers with lots of trendy cafés and restaurants. Pantai Batu Bolong is also very popular for surfers during the day, but the evenings are much quieter. At Pantai Batu Bolong you can admire the beautiful Javanese art-deco museum hotel Tugu Bali.
Favourite restaurant
In Canggu you have a lot of nice trendy restaurants with so-called good food. An example is Milk & Madu in Berawa , nice place for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
In addition to restaurants where they reserve international food, you have nice cafes in Canggu where you can enjoy a good cup of coffee with homemade cake and or sandwiches. You can choose from different types of coffee, Bali, Toraja, Java or Flores coffee. For coffee you can choose from soy milk, oat milk, almond milk or coconut milk. On the hip Batubolong beach, Betelnut Cafe is our favorite.
The Legong Keraton hotel is located on the beach of Berawa, a short half hour walk from Seminyak.
